The Sisterhood needs new officers and our officers ranks have recently been redesigned, partly to allow more people to be part of the guild's leadership.
Here is how the officer ranks will be considered from now on:
*********************************************************************
-MINISTERS (lower officers): The first rank in our guild where you have responsabilities. You need to be motivated and willing to be involved to reach this rank. Here are the features associated with this rank (also applies to Intendants, their alt rank).
*Can invite new members. As such, they have a responsability to recruit.
*The highest rank affiliated with a Vocation. They need to be willing to organize events (ex: battlegrounds for Ministers of Gladiators and raids for Ministers of Adventurers) and lead their Vocation in a dynamic way.
*They are responsible for making newer members choose a Vocation, so that they can eventually receive their quest and be promoted to Noble.
*They need to be aware of the Courtiers of their own Vocations that deserve a promotion. When they feel the time is right, they can send them their Noble quest. Once the quest is sucessfully completed, they should warn a Chancellor or the Queen so that the applicant can be promoted. (Officers should check the Secret Chamber forum for example of Noble quests).
*They have access to Officer Chat, so they can use it to coordonate efforts or to discuss problems, and can make suggestions and comments about important guild matters; but they need to respect the decisions of the Queen or the Chancellors.
*They benefit from generous bank access, but it is as much for their own needs as for those of other members who may not have such access and that makes reasonable demands; they need to listen to our guildie's needs and be prepared to help them get the items they ask for, if the demand is justified. Furthermore, the Ministers should also try to keep the bank in order and not too cluttered with useless junk (this specially concerns Ministers of Bankers).
*Here is a list of what we expect our different Ministers to do.

**********************************************************************
-CHANCELLORS (higher officers): The highest rank one can achieve in our guild (only ou guild master is higher in the hierarchy). Chancellors have this in particular that they don't have a specific Vocation. Instead they have a "Ruler" Vocation, meaning that their involvement is guild-wide. They are few in numbers and are responsible for helping the Queen lead the guild.
*Like the Ministers, the Chancellors can and should recruit.
*They can also use their vast bank access to benefit other members and to keep the bank in order. They usually also watch for any abuse or unfair use of the bank.
*They are the only rank that can promote, demote or remove members.
*They are responsible for handling problems and assorted drama and have the last word on conflict resolutions among officers.
*How to become a Chancellor? Apart from Aeloom and Sarnethia, we only want one Chancellor, that needs to be active and motivated. Why so few? It's simply easier for the guild to work with a smaller leadership, more mostly creates more confusion. Most of the useful officer work can be handled by the Ministers and we feel it will be more fun and productive if they do so while sticking to their Vocation and worrying less about discipline and unfun stuff like that, that is better handled by only a few people. So the short answer is that, as long as Cynringer keeps doing such a great job as a Chancellor, we are not looking for any others. If for some reason, a Chancellor is unwilling or unable to do the job, a new Chancellor will be chosen among the Ministers at that moment.
**********************************************************************
So there it is! Most of this was currently taking place, but we felt that was a good idea to make it clearer. So, if you are a Noble and want to become a Minister, you know what to do! We're looking forward to your application and to kick ass with you.
