Sisterhood of the Crown / Sisters of Elune (US)

Welcome to the Sisterhood of the Crown. Founded by Aeloom and Sarnethia, two Blood Elves sisters, this guild is ideal for all female World of Warcraft characters (of all horde races) interested in roleplay, conspiraties, politics, friendship and of course leveling! Male characters are also accepted if they suscribe to the ideals of the Sisterhood.

Based in the beautiful city of Silvermoon, the Sisterhood strives to attain power through covert, manipulative means; while helping one another with their individual goals.

Getting the ''Stay Classy'' guild achievement!
05/09/2012 05:47 AM by Aeloom

In order to help the guild getting an 8th g-bank tab and motivate people to level combo of classes/races we are still missing for the ''Stay Classy'' guild achievement, the Sisterhood will now reward people who level what we are missing with 2k gold!

Here is the list of what we currently need:

Orc: Mage, Rogue, Warrior and Death Knight
Tauren: Priest, Death Knight and Shaman
Troll: Hunter and Warrior
Forsaken: Mage and Warrior
Goblin: Warrior, Priest and Warlock

In order to qualify for the gold reward you need to level either of those up to level 85 AND get the HONORED guild reputation level with the guild!

Happy hunting!

New officers for the Sisterhood!
03/05/2012 12:01 AM by Aeloom

Hello everyone!

We recently accepted 3 new faces to help us manage the guild so it could prosper and keep on being a fun place to be! Xenyra, Deyvako and Raijin were selected as Ministers of the Sisterhood and will focus on their specific vocation to make sure that the players from it benefit with help, events, or support for what they enjoy about our guild and WoW!!!

For those who were not selected be sure to know we are not denying your contribution but we could not accept everyone who wanted to be an officer; we have to be sure to have the best team of active people but also we can't let it become too big or it will be too hard and chaotic to manage :P We could still accept a Banker or Socialite Minister since we did not get many applications for those roles; but for Gladiator and Adventurer we believe we got what we need for now. So if any of you would be interested at farming/managing stuff for the guild bank and help people with their crafting needs or just support our guild chat with your wonderful smiles or do some RP events well let Aeloom or Cynringer know about it!

With this new recruitment of officers we want to make sure the guild stays interesting for all and also try to make the vocations central to the guild organization. People should try to get close to their vocation Ministers and guildies and try to get into some fun and action with them; those people are supposed to like and enjoy the same things as you in Warcraft so get along with them and group up for some crazy adventures!

Still our guild is considered a casual one so nothing will be taken too seriously here; as long as people have fun and get along together the main objective is fulfilled. We try to make stuff happen and make the guild as dynamic as it can be but still it's based on a ''Want to commit'' principle; nobody is forced to participate in any events or such and the mood will always be laid back since even if we try to do many things we wont get hardcore about any of them. You could say we try to give variety and quantity over quality maybe but we don't want pressure to be part of the guild ever :p

So I hope we will still all enjoy good times together in this gaming experience we are all sharing and let's hope the best is still to come!!! :D

Officers Update
02/23/2012 02:28 PM by Aeloom

The Sisterhood needs new officers and our officers ranks have recently been redesigned, partly to allow more people to be part of the guild's leadership.

Here is how the officer ranks will be considered from now on:

*********************************************************************
-MINISTERS (lower officers): The first rank in our guild where you have responsabilities. You need to be motivated and willing to be involved to reach this rank. Here are the features associated with this rank (also applies to Intendants, their alt rank).

*Can invite new members. As such, they have a responsability to recruit.

*The highest rank affiliated with a Vocation. They need to be willing to organize events (ex: battlegrounds for Ministers of Gladiators and raids for Ministers of Adventurers) and lead their Vocation in a dynamic way.

*They are responsible for making newer members choose a Vocation, so that they can eventually receive their quest and be promoted to Noble.

*They need to be aware of the Courtiers of their own Vocations that deserve a promotion. When they feel the time is right, they can send them their Noble quest. Once the quest is sucessfully completed, they should warn a Chancellor or the Queen so that the applicant can be promoted. (Officers should check the Secret Chamber forum for example of Noble quests).

*They have access to Officer Chat, so they can use it to coordonate efforts or to discuss problems, and can make suggestions and comments about important guild matters; but they need to respect the decisions of the Queen or the Chancellors.

*They benefit from generous bank access, but it is as much for their own needs as for those of other members who may not have such access and that makes reasonable demands; they need to listen to our guildie's needs and be prepared to help them get the items they ask for, if the demand is justified. Furthermore, the Ministers should also try to keep the bank in order and not too cluttered with useless junk (this specially concerns Ministers of Bankers).

*Here is a list of what we expect our different Ministers to do.

*How to become a Minister? Read all about it here.

**********************************************************************
-CHANCELLORS (higher officers): The highest rank one can achieve in our guild (only ou guild master is higher in the hierarchy). Chancellors have this in particular that they don't have a specific Vocation. Instead they have a "Ruler" Vocation, meaning that their involvement is guild-wide. They are few in numbers and are responsible for helping the Queen lead the guild.

*Like the Ministers, the Chancellors can and should recruit.

*They can also use their vast bank access to benefit other members and to keep the bank in order. They usually also watch for any abuse or unfair use of the bank.

*They are the only rank that can promote, demote or remove members.

*They are responsible for handling problems and assorted drama and have the last word on conflict resolutions among officers.

*How to become a Chancellor? Apart from Aeloom and Sarnethia, we only want one Chancellor, that needs to be active and motivated. Why so few? It's simply easier for the guild to work with a smaller leadership, more mostly creates more confusion. Most of the useful officer work can be handled by the Ministers and we feel it will be more fun and productive if they do so while sticking to their Vocation and worrying less about discipline and unfun stuff like that, that is better handled by only a few people. So the short answer is that, as long as Cynringer keeps doing such a great job as a Chancellor, we are not looking for any others. If for some reason, a Chancellor is unwilling or unable to do the job, a new Chancellor will be chosen among the Ministers at that moment.

**********************************************************************
So there it is! Most of this was currently taking place, but we felt that was a good idea to make it clearer. So, if you are a Noble and want to become a Minister, you know what to do! We're looking forward to your application and to kick ass with you.

Blizzard announced account-wide Achievements
02/12/2012 04:58 PM by Sarnethia
Another reason to be excited for Mists of Pandaria! They said they want to do it in a way that all achievements could be shared between your characters (including those you already have). Let's hope they make good to that promise!

We finally achieved "United Nations"
01/17/2012 03:50 PM by Sarnethia

After many months of grinding the most obscure and time-consuming reputations, we made it to one of our most long-term goals: getting the "United Nations" guild achievement, that requires to get to 55 Exalted reputations among all members of our guild.

It was not easy but we are rewarded with a fantastic little pet: the Dark Phoenix Hatchling! Get yours now if your guild reputation is high enough! :)
